II- KUFOS recruits Project Scientist, Senior Research Fellow and Field Assistant

Applications are invited for the following position in the Plan project funded by Government of Kerala for appointment on Contract basis for a period of one year at this University.

  1. Project Scientist

    No. of Vacancies : 1 no.
    Essential Qualification : Ph. D in Aquaculture/ Fisheries Science/ Aquatic Health Management / Aquatic Biology and Fisheries / Marine Biology or equivalent. Minimum five years Research experience in seed production and Hatchery management of fish or shrimp

    Desirable : Experience in farming and seed production of fish/prawn/shrimp

    Remuneration : Rs. 25,000 per month (consolidated)

    Age : below 50 years

  2. Senior Research Fellow

    No. of Vacancies : 2 nos.
    Essential Qualification : Ph. Post Graduate in any branch of Fisheries / Aquaculture/Zoology. Minimum Two years Experience in resource assessed breeding and culture of fresh water fishes

    Desirable : Experience in survey farming and seed production of indigenous fish species

    Remuneration : Rs. 16,000 per month (consolidated)

    Age : below 30 years

  3. Field Assistant

    No. of Vacancies : 1 no.
    Essential Qualification : V. H. S. C/Plus Two. Minimum two years experience as skilled worker in Aquaculture or related fields. Experience in sample collection and net operation

    Remuneration : Rs. 8,000 per month (consolidated)

    Age : below 25 years
